How To Use Silk
The crafting system in _Black Myth: Wukong _ is typical for a Triple-A RPG, so having plenty of the rarer but "basic" materials, like silk, will allow you to craft new armor as the situation needs. Each armor set provides unique buffs , and equipping full sets will even give an additional, or stronger, effect when you wear all the pieces. Typically, these buffs apply to the area or fight you're about to enter.
For instance, the

Fireproof Mantle that you receive after defeating Elder Jinchi in the secret " Three Bells" quest in chapter one allows you to nullify all fire damage for a short time, giving you a distinct advantage when fighting Black Bear Guai at the chapter's end. Each area has a few armor sets to unlock, so make sure you explore as much as you can so you don't miss anything. As you play, take note of the enemies you fight, as they may come in handy when gathering materials.
How To Get Silk
Defeat Certain Enemies

Though you might think that silk is a material that you should be able to harvest from nature, that's not the case in Black Myth: Wukong . Instead, you'll have to defeat enemies, buy it in the store, or grab it out of the many chests scattered around Black Myth: Wukong 's expansive map . Chests provide the most silk of all these sources, but a limited number of them exist.
Rather than searching for every chest in the game, the most efficient method for farming silk in Black Myth: Wukong is to defeat enemies. **** You can also tackle larger enemies if you get bored. These beefier foes often drop

Yaoguai Core as well, so you'll be able to upgrade your weapons at the same time.
If you don't feel like fighting, you can always find Silk in shops, but it'll set you back 600 Will per piece. This cost makes buying Silk less worth your time, as your Will is better saved for other things. Don't waste your money on Silk when getting started. black myth wukong is pretty easy to find as you can head to the Rockrest Flat to find Silk in the early hours of the game.

Best Area To Get Silk

In the Yellow Wind Ridge region of Black Myth: Wukong 's second chapter, you'll find the Rockrest Flat at the second fast-travel location under Fright Cliff. Once you teleport to this shrine, you can defeat the enemies and then respawn them using the Shrine. Rinse and repeat these steps until you have the Silk you need to craft the armor you're going for.
If you want an additional challenge, you can also fight the Stone Vanguard nearby. This is a tougher boss, so you'll be able to grab some extra Will while you're here to help level up any of Black Myth: Wukong 's three Stances more quickly. The Stone Vanguard will put up a fight, but smart usage of

Cloud Step and your other skills will serve you well here.
How To Use Silk
Craft Any Armor You've Unlocked
Almost every armor set in Black Myth: Wukong takes Silk, so you will almost always need some in your inventory as you play. As mentioned above, these armor sets usually give you an advantage in the area you're in, so crafting new sets as they're unlocked will help you progress a bit easier. Check out FP Good Game 's YouTube video to learn how to craft the Bronze Armor set.
To craft new armor, simply head to any Shrine after unlocking a new set, go into the crafting menu, hit "Craft Armor," then select the set you'd like to make. Note that this will create the whole armor set at once, so make sure you know how much Silk this will take before you do it. There's no way to undo a craft once it's done, so once you make something, your Silk is gone forever.
Armors are one way to give yourself an edge, but they're one of the simplest. Aside from upgrading your Gourd , new armor sets are going to be the most frequent change you make as you play the game. Grab new equipment as you play, get it crafted, and you'll see just how big a difference the right armor can make against Black Myth: Wukong 's tough bosses .
